Long career closely connected with broadcasting

Gethyn joined the BBC and spent 22 years as a staff Producer and Presenter at Radio Solent, presenting and producing a wide variety of programmes. Gethyn then moved into the freelance world of broadcasting and training and, during the nineties, became a commercial radio News Editor in Portsmouth.

He was then asked to set up a news team for a local TV station and was subsequently appointed to oversee live programming.  Media Training followed this.

This considerable experience has been invaluable in enabling Gethyn to produce websites that communicate their messages clearly and look great into the bargain.

It was in 1998 that Gethyn first got involved in the web world – with a former BBC colleague he devised the on-line database/directory for voice professionals – www.thevoiceworks.com . It still thrives today.

Building sites for others was a natural move and one which Gethyn now wishes he’d done years ago – but the snag is, there was no Internet then - the Net we all recognise and rely on today.

Journalists are experienced in ‘getting to the point’ when frequently faced with complicated jargon and confusing publicity material.  This editing experience is vital in producing websites that are clean and easily understood by everyone.
